Apple Crumble

My easy vegan & gluten-free apple crumble recipe!! 🍏🥧

If you’re sitting at home craving something sweet or want to impress your friends (without actually laboring too hard shh… 🤫) you just might want to whip up this mouth-watering, comforting treat! You probably have most of the ingredients sitting in your pantry anyway 💁🏾‍♀️

SERVINGS: 8 PREP TIME: 15 min COOK TIME: 35 min

INGREDIENTS

FILLING

  • 4 green apples, diced

  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup buckwheat flour

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

CRUMBLE

  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup gluten-free quick oats

  • 6 tbsp coconut oil or melted unsalted vegan butter

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven 350F.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine all filling ingredients.

  3. Grease a 9-inch baking dish with coconut oil and pour the apple filling in.

  4. In your crumble bowl, combine the crumble ingredients. Evenly pour it over the top of the apple filling. Lightly tamp down and evenly level out the crumble until it covers the filling.

  5. Bake in a 350 degree F oven on top rack for 35 minutes.

  6. Let cool for 5-10 mins and enjoy warm!
