Easy Veggie Pizza
This yummy veggie (and vegan) pizza is the perfect quick + easy dinner for a busy weeknight or chill weekend! I hardly order pizza out anymore cause itโs so easy & fresh this way ๐ Plus it only takes 15 mins to cook! ๐This recipe is hardly a recipe because well.. it's pizza! You decide what toppings you want and how much of it. The recipe below is my preference with rough measurements (because who measures making pizza?!) but feel free to chop and change as you like obviously!
SERVINGS: 4 slices ` PREP TIME: 15 MIN COOK TIME: 15 min
INGREDIENTS
1/3 c organic pizza sauce
1 Banza chickpea pizza crust
1/2 a red bell pepper, sliced
1/4 of an onion, sliced
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeรฑo, chopped
1-2 handfuls baby bella mushrooms, sliced
crushed oregano
5-6 tsp pesto (I like Seggiano fresh basil pesto genovese)
a couple of fresh basil leaves, chopped
2 tsp maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat oven to 400F.
Prep your veggies by washing, chopping and setting them aside.
Spread pizza sauce onto your crust.
Add veggies and crushed oregano.
Bake for 15 mins.
Remove and let cool.
Garnish with small dollops of pesto, fresh chopped basil, and maple syrup.
Slice and enjoy!
